New Mwanza Hotel caught fire on Wednesday night but fire brigade arrived at the scene quickly to contain it.
According to our reporter at the scene, a source of the fire has not been established yet but a thorough investigation is expected to be conducted soon.
So far, no causalities have been reported by authorities.
Mwanza Regional Commissioner Adam Malima, who doubles as the region’s security Committee’chairperson, promised that the probe will establish the source of the tragedy in the second largest commercial city in Tanzania.
