ARUSHA: In a groundbreaking initiative set to propel technological advancement in Tanzania, Power Learn Project (PLP) and Emurgo Africa are gearing up for a series of transformative activities with the Institute of Accountancy Arusha (IAA) University. This multifaceted endeavor aims to redefine the Tanzanian software development landscape by seamlessly integrating education, blockchain innovation, and a commitment to academic excellence.

Recent seminars held at Arusha Technical College and the University of Dar es Salaam served as a dynamic prelude to the upcoming activities. Attended by a diverse audience of over 300 participants, these sessions delved into the nuances of Web3 trends, blockchain technology, and the myriad opportunities present in the digital arena.

Ahmed Amer, CEO of Emurgo Africa, shared his vision for fostering a robust tech ecosystem in Tanzania, stating, “Our involvement with the Institute of Accountancy Arusha Business Startup Centre (IBSUC) at IAA, combined with PLP’s expertise in training software developers, is a testament to our dedication.
