NATIONAL Assembly Speaker Dr. Tulia Ackson has left the country today June 12, 2023 for Marrakesh, in Morocco to participate in the Parliamentary Conference on Interfaith Dialogue that will be held between June 13 and 15, 2023.
Dr. Tulia is accompanied by some Members of Parliament including, Dr. Joseph Mhagama, Elibariki Kingu, Esther Matiko and the Parliament Clerk, Nenelwa Mwihambi NDC
The conference aims to facilitate an open dialogue among speakers, MPs, religious leaders, representatives of civil society, and other experts.
Together, they will discuss crucial issues hindering sustainable co-existence and explore strategies to build more peaceful and inclusive societies. The event will also focus on developing a roadmap for joint action to address these challenges.
