CPS Limited has concluded the nine-month programme aimed at empowering women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in Zanzibar.
The programme, organised by CPS, serves as a beacon of progress and opportunity for the youth of the country.
Unguja West District Commissioner Ms Hamida Khamis commended CPS at the graduation ceremony for the support provided in fostering the growth of women in STEM.
“CPS has shown an unwavering dedication to promoting gender equality and empowerment in STEM. Their investment in this programme is a testament to their commitment to the progress of Zanzibar,” she said.
As the STEM programme takes its next steps forward, CPS reaffirms its commitment to supporting Zanzibar in achieving greater heights in STEM education and development.
The collaboration with the University of Dar es Salaam has been instrumental in the success of this programme, and CPS extends heartfelt gratitude for its continuous support.
CPS Chief Operations Officer Ms Katrin Dietzold said the rigorous curriculum and hands-on approach have equipped the participants with invaluable skills and knowledge, paving the way for a brighter future in STEM fields.
