The Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism has been among the beneficiary of Chinese government in one way or another, especially in the field of conservation of wildlife and natural resources. 73rd anniversary. I acknowledge the good friendship, cooperation, and collaboration Tanzania has enjoyed since 1965 when the first president the late Julius Nyerere visited China at the invitation of the late Chairman Mao Zedong of the People’s Republic of China.

We have been brothers and sisters, true friends, and strategic partners since the time of our founding fathers Mwalimu Julius Kambarage Nyerere and Chairman Mao Zedong. Our partnership has flourished and grown at bilateral and multilateral levels. As we celebrate the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China on 1st October 2022, we commend the government of the People’s Republic of China and the people of China for the remarkable
achievements recorded nationally, regionally, and internationally. Having been founded in 1949, the People’s Republic of China played a great role in unifying China by bringing people together and building a sense of
belonging to all Chinese, efforts of which we see remarkable results today.
