Coastal Union calls on members to attend AGM
TANGA: COASTAL Union FC has urged its members to attend the club’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) on December 13th at Tanga Beach Resort in Tanga Region.
The club’s Information Officer, Hussein Mchomvu, told reporters that the preparations for the meeting were on track and reminded members to clear their membership fees to qualify for participation.
“One of the requirements to take part in the AGM is to have paid the membership fee. During the meeting, we will discuss the club’s income and expenditure reports as well as future plans,” Mchomvu said.
On the team’s performance in the NBC Premier League, Mchomvu said the season has been competitive, with many teams strengthening their squads.
He noted that Coastal Union had a slow start due to the inclusion of several new players but expressed confidence that results would improve.

The Tanga-based side is currently 13th in the league with five points from five matches.
They have recorded one win against Tanzania Prisons (1-0), two draws with Fountain Gate (1-1) and Mtibwa Sugar (0-0), and two losses to JKT Tanzania (2-1) and Dodoma Jiji (2- 0).
Coastal Union will return to action on November 25th against Mbeya City at Mkwakwani Stadium, before travelling to Kigoma to face Mashujaa FC on December 3rd at Lake Tanganyika Stadium.
On December 12 they will meet against defending champions Young Africans SC at Mkwakwani Stadium.
