TRADERS from 100 Chinese companies are expected to land in the country purposely to hold discussions on investments and trade with their counterparts from Tanzania.
The traders are expected to arrive in the country September 20, 2023, Tanzania Ambassador to China, Mbelwa Kairuki has said.
According to the envoy, in their seven-day stay in Dar es Salaam, the Chinese delegation will: “Meet with their Tanzanian counterparts to discuss collaboration in various opportunities including business and trade and collaboration.”
Meanwhile, Tanzania businessmen have been granted an opportunity to freely showcase and sell their products at the China-Africa Trade and Commodity Expo.
The diplomat Kairuki announced this on Tuesday through the embassy’s verified account, @TZEmbassyCN saying that the event will be held in Jinhua, China from the 13th to 15th of November, this year.
“The businessmen will be given opportunities to display their products and accommodation service free of charge,” the diplomat states.
