CEO roundtable of Tanzania commends prof Janabi for his visionary leadership

DAR ES SALAAM: The Chief Executive Officer’s Roundtable of Tanzania (CEOrt) has commended the Executive Director of Muhimbili National Hospital (MNH), Prof. Mohamed Janabi for his visionary leadership at the national and tertiary facility for his dedication to transform the health sector in the country.

CEOrt brings together about 200 CEOs of the leading companies and public sectors in Tanzania and provides a platform for regular engagement with government and key stakeholders for the country’s sustainable economic development.

These remarks was made by the CEOrt Executive Director Ms Santina Benson when she was giving the heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the Board of Director’s to Prof Janabi who was the key guest speaker during the CEOrt members meeting held early this week in Dar es Salaam.

Ms. Santina said Prof Janabi gave a presentation which challenged leaders to reconsider their dietary habits and to prioritize a healthy lifestyle.

“The thought leadership session gave us a fresh perspective on member’s engagement and further encouraged the secretariat to explore diverse topics, especially those pertaining to critical aspects of life such as health and the like”, she affirmed.

Ms. Santina indicated that the CEOrt will continue to draw Prof. Janabi’s immense inspiration from his visionary leadership whilst seeing great potential to engage him for further discussions on how best the private sector can as well contribute to the comprehensive transformation of the health sector.

Early this week, Rotary Club of Dar es salaam Mzizima presented a vocational service award to Prof. Janabi for his excellent leadership of public health institutions in Tanzania.
