Business Executive awards ZIC for ‘excellence’

DAR ES SALAAM: The Third African Outstanding Professionals Awards organised by The Business Executive (TBE) organization has awarded the Zanzibar Insurance Corporation (ZIC) with the ‘Africa Outstanding Award’ for providing excellent insurance services in Africa.

The prestigious award was received by the ZIC Director, Arafat Haji in a colorful ceremony that was held in Dar es Salaam on Wednesday.

The 3rd African Outstanding Professionals Awards is a pan-continental awards scheme designed to identify and publicly recognize extraordinarily capable and accomplished professionals across the various delineated fields of activity, where apart from Tanzania, other countries that attended and awarded included companies and institutions from Kenya, Uganda, Burundi, Rwanda, and Ghana.

Speaking on behalf of the Managing Director, ZIC’s representative, Muhammad Matumula, expressed his gratitude to TBE for recognising their efforts of the organization, while saying that the hard work of their Managing Director led to the success.

“This success reflects on all of us who work behind our Managing Director. This award will serve as a motivation for us to strive for more, to work hard ensuring that we receive more awards on excellent performance,” he pointed out.

He added; “If these awards are given for providing excellent services, then I believe we will win many more.”

The TBE awards aim at encouraging and promoting professionalism in socio-economic activity all around the continent with a view to supporting wider efforts to make Africa most competitive within the emergent global economy and society; and to directly identify professionals who are world class in their activities.
