Bolt business grows eight times in 2022

Bolt Business in Tanzania recorded grew eight times compared to the previous year thanks to innovative and cost-efficient services provided to various organisations in the country.
The company’s Country Manager for Bolt Business in Tanzania and Tunisia, Milu Kipimo said in Dar es Salaam recently that Bolt is currently serving about 1,000 companies including leading financial institutions, media houses, manufacturing, hospitality, insurance companies, as well as NGOs.
“Since its launch, the platform has facilitated hundreds of thousands of trips for top corporate offices, as well as small and medium-sized businesses across Tanzania,” he said.
He said Bolt Business offers the ability to control, manage, and pay for all business-related work trips, all from a single account.
From SMEs to multinational organisations, Bolt Business’ innovative and distinct services improve mobility for businesses and customers alike with a bonus of reduction in travel costs.
Data has shown that with Bolt Business, companies can spend up to 25 per cent less on business trips when compared to regular taxi rides.
“Our ultimate goal is to make transportation more accessible and hassle-free for businesses of all sizes,” he said.
Globally, Bolt has also continued to grow immensely and this has been driven by growing partnerships with existing clients, as well as a huge push to sign new clients.
As a result, the number of unique users on the Bolt Business platform grew by 400 per cent last year when compared to the same time last year, with the number of orders increasing at the same rate.
