Azania bags Best Exhibitor award

DAR ES SALAAM: AZANIA Bank has emerged as the Best Exhibitor in the financial sector at the 49th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF), outperforming all other participating banks.
During the award presentation by Zanzibar President Dr Hussein Mwinyi, the bank was also awarded second place overall among all exhibitors at this year’s event.
While briefing President Mwinyi at the bank’s booth, Azania Bank Chief Executive Officer Ms Esther Mang’enya stated that this year the bank focused on showcasing digital services and how they add value to businesses.
Ms Mang’enya emphasised that digital banking services are crucial in enhancing business efficiency, transparency and accessibility.
She noted that digital platforms reduce the need for physical visits, allowing businesses to conduct transactions, access loans and manage finances remotely and securely.
This not only saves time but also helps entrepreneurs respond quickly to market demands.

It is worth noting that earlier this year the bank launched an upgraded version of its digital services called Azania Digital.
This platform features enhanced tools including WhatsApp Banking, Internet Banking, Azania Agency, Mobile Banking and more, designed to offer greater convenience and accessibility for users.
