Airtel Africa appoints Publicis Groupe Africa as marketing partner across 12 countries

JOHANNESBURG: Airtel Africa has announced the appointment of Publicis Groupe Africa as its integrated marketing partner across 12 key African markets, including Tanzania, in a move set to redefine marketing engagement across the continent.
The appointment follows an extensive pitch process and will see the two firms collaborate to drive data-led, creative brand campaigns in Congo Brazzaville, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Niger, Chad, Gabon, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, and Madagascar. Discussions for additional markets are ongoing.
The strategic partnership is expected to deliver impactful, locally resonant marketing that leverages storytelling, media, digital expertise, and data, aligned with Airtel Africa’s vision to connect the unconnected and expand digital and financial inclusion.
