Agricultural bank’s special training benefits 100 farmers

BUKOBA: IN continuing its mission to stimulate agricultural development countrywide, the Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank (TADB) has conducted a special seminar for farmers in Kagera district, Bukoba region.

The seminar took place at the ELCT hall and served as a knowledge platform that brought together nearly 100 farmers with the aim of gaining an understanding of the financial services offered by the bank.

Through this training, farmers had the opportunity to learn in depth about access to agricultural loans, production empowerment services, and best practices for full participation in the agricultural value chain. This seminar is a testament to TADB’s commitment to developing productive, inclusive, and sustainable agriculture that builds livelihoods, communities, and the nation’s economy.

Alongside the seminar, TADB plans to open a branch office in Kagera region, an important step aimed at bringing services closer to farmers, livestock keepers, and other stakeholders in the agriculture sector.

The presence of this office will serve as a bridge for communication and close collaboration between the bank and the farming community, to accelerate service delivery, increase accountability, and drive economic and social development through agriculture.
