TANZANIA : Over 440 athletes including teachers and students from Tanzania have arrived in Kigali, Rwanda ready for this year’s Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Sports Association (FEASSSA) Games.
The team took off from Tabora Girls Secondary School in Tabora and entered Rwanda’s territory via the Rusumo border. It will be taking part in the regional’s games scheduled to kick-off today through Aug. 27.
Tanzania’s team will be competing against their counterparts from the Host Rwanda, DRC, Kenya and Uganda in football, basketball, netball, Hockey, Tennis, marathon and handball.
