DAR ES SALAAM: A newly released Joseph Haule alias ‘Professor J’ song is among the trending hits on media platforms with over 233,000 views on his YouTube channel in just nine days.
Titled ‘462 days’, the song depicts the days he spent in hospital and the lyrics of the song are emotional as he explains what happened in between.
Part of it says before he fell sick, he was on singing tour called ‘Chaka kwa Chaka’ which began in Manyoni then Mto wa Mbu and Babati.
After that, he proceeded to Chato, Bukoba, Tarime, Shirati, Kakora, Kagongwa, Mbarali, and Kahama before invading Norasco located in Kigamboni, Dar es Salaam.
The lyrics further reveals that the tour proceeded to Mafinga, Chunya, Makambako, Njombe, Mbinga, Mbeya before reaching Songea where things started not to go well with him.
“I had to cut short the tour because of fatigue and decided to return home but the fatigue persisted…on January 24th, I felt very bad, and my body condition deteriorated by the day.
“My wife took me to Kitengule Hospital [in Dar es Salaam] and after receiving the First Aid, I was referred to Lugalo hospital…the status was worsening, and they rushed me to Muhimbili National Hospital in a military ambulance.
“At Muhimbili, I was straight taken to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) where I breathed using machine with medical tubes all over my body,” says the lyrics of the song sung by Professor J himself.
