Janza said: “The response is quite great, I want to congratulate you. I see potential on the coaches. You should get more because you are more than ready to take Tanzania football to another level.
You can take Tanzania to African finals as well as World Cup finals.” The Zambian, who is also holder of UEFA Licence B, was assisted in the course that emphasized on the upgrading of the knowledge of coaches by Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) Technical Director and CAF coaching instructor, Sunday Kayuni.
Amongst topics treated at the course held under the technical supervision of the two CAF Instructors, are training, tactics, psychology, physiotherapy and practices, with excellent participation from the coaches present.
Speaking during the event, TFF President Leodegar Tenga who doubles as CAF Executive Committee Member congratulated the participants of the course, held from December 19th - 22nd and also asked them to make very good use of the Licence B.
Tenga was equally satisfied with the response of the participants in the various fields of study, which confirms their zeal to climb up the coaching ladder.
He advised those who do not have contracts with teams, to work as instructors through their area football authorities or could sometimes volunteer to coach so that the knowledge acquired be useful to football fraternity.
The former Tanzanian football legend said for TFF, Licence B is a very important qualification, so for the coaches have to act, deal and behave professionally because football coaching is a profession like others. “This is a profession.
To be good ambassadors of football, to become true to what you believe, you have to give us professional analysis of a match,” said Tenga.
